There are multiple avenues where you can participate with the FNV to make TU Delft a better place to work, study, research and innovate. This is the monthly general meeting of TU Delft employees who are engaged in FNV activities. All FNV members are welcome! This group makes sure all the activities are coordinated and gives responsibilities to FNV members who wish to have official roles, such as a union-consultant, a committee representative, a campaign leader or a Signal-group moderator. Contact FNV@TUDelft.nl<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n This body (het Lokaal Overleg<\/a>, or LO in Dutch) brings together representatives of the employer (the Executive Board) and trade unions active within TU Delft (AOb, CNV, and FNV). They discuss topics related to personnel policy and employment conditions, in line with the Collective Labour Agreement for Dutch Universities<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Committee generally meets five times a year and consists of a public part and a closed part. The guiding principle is transparency, unless there are valid reasons for a closed session. There is also a mutual advise dialogue with the Works Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The FNV representatives are chosen by the FNV union faction, they are: Jaap Vleugel<\/a> and Fabio Luelmo<\/a>, who is also the Deputy Chair of the LO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This body (het Ondernemingsraad<\/a>, or OR in Dutch) are employees elected by and from staff every three years. They discuss decisions of the TU Delft Executive Board that directly or indirectly affect the interests of employees. The rights and obligations of the OR are enshrined in several legal agreements<\/a>. The OR self organizes into a number of themed committees to manage the work and works together with Personnel Committees (OdC\u2019s) at local level and the Student Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n FNV representatives on the OR are Claudia Werker<\/a>, Ivan Nevzgodin<\/a>, Roy Amirullah<\/a>, Olaf Voorwinde<\/a>, Robert van der Vlies<\/a>, Ronald Kuil<\/a> who is also the Chair of the OR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n These bodies (de Onderdeelcommissies, or OdC\u2019s in Dutch) provide consultation of staff in matters of strategy forming and organizational implementation at the local level. Each faculty, the University Corporate Office and QuTech have an OdC. They have an autonomous and equal position in dialog with the head of their organization. Many FNV members make their voice heard through these committees. The positions are filled on a voluntary basis.
